What Is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy uses movement, exercise, manual therapy, education and advice to help people affected by injury, illness or disability. Overall goals of physiotherapy are to restore or maintain an individual’s level of function, whether this is taking part in normal work duties or participating in elite sport.
